The day after the earthquake struck Haiti, Matthew Price found the hospital in Port-au-Prince was full of injured and dead people but no doctors. On Sunday, four days later, the United Nations are guarding the hospital, which now has plenty of doctors and vital medicine and equipment being brought in.

The Disasters Emergency Committee have launched an appeal for Haiti on TV and radio. .
